Asparagus knife with strong square forged handle and wooden grip
Asparagus knife or weeding tool Jimmy made of forged steel, with an overall length of 46 cm and a digging depth of 30 cm. The asparagus knife features an ergonomically shaped wooden grip, with a length of 16 cm.
The long square steel handle has a flat, bevel-ground blade with a width of 2 cm. Thanks to the angled position of the blade and the grip, the correct angle is easy to maintain while digging.
Insert the blade straight into the ground, flat and parallel alongside the asparagus stalk. Insert almost to the root. Once the blade is at the correct depth (usually about 20 to 25 centimeters deep), push or tilt the blade slightly toward the asparagus. Then cut the asparagus stalk.
This knife is also used for removing weeds. The shape of the blade is ideal for removing weeds with a taproot, such as dandelions, sorrel, and thistles.
